REAL WOMEN LIFT EACH OTHER UP
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about why I chose to focus exclusively on career coaching for women. Reflecting on my own career, I’m grateful for the work ethic I built in the corporate world and all the lessons I’ve learned along the way. But one thing has really stood out to me—the lack of support among women, especially when it comes to uplifting one another. It’s honestly been disappointing to see.
That’s why I believe it’s so important for women to truly understand how powerful it is to lift each other up. When we support each other, we create a network that opens doors to limitless opportunities.
Throughout my journey, the women who have had my back have always emphasized the importance of collaboration. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had my share of “grumpy” older women who weren’t the most supportive (I’m sure you can relate to that, lol). But honestly, I’m thankful for the support I’ve received—it’s shaped my journey and helped me get where I am.
But here’s the thing: It’s crazy to me how many women feel the need to compete with each other, and for no good reason—just jealousy or envy. I mean, how is that helping anyone? It creates this toxic energy that stifles collaboration and holds us all back. Instead, I encourage you to reach out to those women who inspire you—ask them how they did it, what their journey was like. It’s a much better use of your time than focusing on envy.
On top of that, there’s also the challenge of men downplaying women’s contributions in the workplace. We all know this happens, and it’s frustrating. These dynamics—women competing with each other and men dismissing women’s accomplishments—only make it harder for us to move forward.
That’s exactly why I’m so passionate about creating a space where women feel heard, seen, and supported in their career journeys. I want to help women build the confidence to face challenges, set goals, and show up as their best selves—because when we’re empowered, we all rise together.
I’m committed to helping women realize the power of supporting one another. There’s room for all of us. Real women lift each other up. It’s that simple.
